Plenum
weekly member meet-up
Art Meet-Up
Datum every tuesday
Start 20:00
Dauer 1h
Relevant? No

The Plenum is our weekly meet-up. There, we discuss current issues and plans for the future. It occurs every Tuesday at 20:00 h. Proposals must be collected in advance to keep every member informed and give consensus a chance. This, as well as the minutes, are documented in the internal Wiki. Currently, the plenum takes place in a hybrid form: both in the Chaosdorf and on https://virtual.chaosdorf.space/Lounge

course of action:

  1. elect a moderator and a minute taker
  2. everyone quickly introduces themselves
  3. we decide current membership proposals
  4. we hear reports and announcements
  5. we discuss and decide collected proposals
  6. lastly we make left-over announcements and give ideas for the next plenum

Decisions are based on consensus, but only members can give a veto and stop the process.

proposals

  • proposals must be present in the draft for the next plenum no later than the sunday at 15h before.
  • they should be specific enough and include a resolution sentence, which can be decided by the plenum.
  • the draft is currently only directly accessible/editable by members, sadly. (this may change in the future)
  • non-members may submit proposals via the public matrix-chat, mail, via other members or in the Plenum itself for the next one. Please include for clarification a explicit note that this should be included in the next plenum. We try our best to copy them over into the draft in time before the deadline. It is advantageous when you are present at the plenum and/or include a contact info how we can contact you for queries in regards to the proposal.
