Introduction
Freifunk is a software and a community for meshed wi-fi networking in the neighborhood. With Freifunk, people come together and build a self-organized internet without a centralized, commercial infrastructure. At Chaosdorf, we host meet-ups and workshops to work at our network and help people joining or building their own.
Ergebnisprotokoll vom Workshop_2012-03-12:
Der Freifunkrouter ausm Hinterzimmer ist nach vorne unter den Sturz gewandert und tunnelt jetzt Netz durch ein VPN nach Schweden. Das VPN ist sponsored by Yrthy, Freifunk Rheinland e.V. Da es sich dabei noch um ne Insellösung handelt wird dieses VPN in absehbarer Zeit auf einen zentralen Freifunk-VPN in den Niederlanden umgebogen.
2 Freifunk-Nodes (FFP-01 und FFP-02) sind im Nachbarhaus deployed und meshen sauber mit unserm Node. 01 steht in der Imbissbude, 02 in der Privatwohnung vom alten Imbissbudenbesitzer.
TODO: Anfrage über einen weiteren AP für das Haus, Yrthy besorgt weitere APs.
