| == convergence - Trying to unfuck the clusterfuck that is SSL ==
| |
|
| |
| SSL is broken and moxie tried to fix it. The proposed solution was convergence, which currently only works as a Firefox-extension. This talk will give a brief introduction to SSL, its history and the problems it's facing today, more than 15 years after SSL got drafted and the current state of convergence as an alternative to the currently used Certification Authority-model. If there's time and interest, I'll also demonstrate how to setup your own convergence-notary.
